The Sustainable Investment Group (SIG) will facilitate two LEED exam prep courses.  SIG has taught over 12,000 students and professionals, 95% of whom pass their LEED exams on the first try.  LEED-certified projects receive an additional 1-3 points through Indiana's QAP, and receiving LEED training and passing the LEED AP exam is the first step to developing a successful LEED-certified project!

Day 1, LEED Green Associate:

This is the first step in becoming a good steward of the environment.  It is the required credential in order to become a LEED AP. The Green Associate is a broad view of the LEED process, LEED goals, and LEED implementation. The 8-hour training will prepare participants to pass the 100 question professional exam, and SIG's complementary tools will help participants focus their studies and master the material.

Day 2, LEED AP Building Design and Construction:

This LEED AP specialty relates to the design and construction of new buildings and renovations. This course is for general contractors, architects, developers, or any other type of building designer. The course covers the “Core & Shell” of a building as well as the BD+C rating system in-depth. It will prepare participants to pass the 100 question professional exam as well as to manage a new construction or major renovation LEED project. LEED AP professionals receive one “bonus” point/credit for any new construction LEED project they work on, so this certification adds great value to staff, their projects, and their organizations. Practice tests, study matrices, and SIG's other great tools are included with this course to help participants pass their exam the first time.

This training is underwritten by the Indiana Housing and Community Development Authority (IHCDA).

There is no free parking at the training venue.  Parking options will be provided in your registration confirmation email.  For an additional fee, you may reserve a parking spot in a lot located a block from the training facility.  Please select "Member +Parking" or "Non-member +Parking" when you register to make your parking reservation.  Note:  You must reserve your spot at least a week in advance.
